The 9th ASOSAI Seminar on Environmental Auditing and the 9th Working Meeting of ASOSAI WGEA completed all the agenda activities and was successfully concluded in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, on August 25, 2023.
On December 6, 2022, the Working Group on Environmental Auditing under the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI WGEA) held an online training session on the topic of "Carbon Reduction Audit" through video conferencing.
In recent days, INTOSAI WGEA officially released 5 audit guidelines for SAIs including the Guidance on Auditing Sustainable Transport (hereafter referred to as the “Guidance”).
The 10th ASOSAI Seminar on Environmental Auditing and the 10th Working Meeting of ASOSAI WGEA were hosted by SAI Indonesia on February 24th. Over 40 participants from 15 SAIs attended the meeting. Additionally, representatives from the Secretariat of the INTOSAI WGEA and EUROSAI WGEA participated and reported on their work progress. Mr. Li Feng, Deputy Auditor General of CNAO, and his delegation attended the seminar and the meeting.
On December 19, ASOSAI WGEA conducted an online thematic training on Climate Change Adaptation Audit and Biodiversity Protection Audit. More than 230 participants attended this event, including representatives of 26 Supreme Audit Institutions (SAIs) and international students from the Master’s Program in Auditing at Nanjing Audit University.

From October 28 to 31, 2024, the 20th Meeting of the Steering Committee of INTOSAI WGEA was held via video conference. CNAO attend the entire conference.
From September 30 to October 4, 2024, the "Climate Change Scan" training for SAIs was held in Rio de Janeiro, organized jointly by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
From October 25 to 26, the 8th Seminar on Environmental Auditing and the 8th Working Meeting of ASOSAI WGEA were held via virtual video. Mr. Hou Kai, Auditor General of China and Chair of ASOSAI WGEA, attended the meeting and made a opening speech.
